This sleeve sits in the variator cover and accepts the kickstart shaft. It is one of the rather wear-prone parts and one of the main causes for faults in the kickstart area. The kickstart may tilt and in extreme circumstances, this may lead to a break of the transmission belt cover. When you’re replacing the kickstart shaft, don’t forget this part.
