The variator is one of the most important components in a scooter. One of Malossi’s top quality variators is their famous MHR Overrange Variator ‘Next’, here for Yamaha T-Max 530cc after 2012.

This overrange variator kit by renowned Italian manufacturer Malossi includes an MHR Next overrange variator, a corresponding fan wheel, a special rear torque drive pulley (with performance-enhancing slot angles), a reinforced torque spring (with its torsion control seat) and 2 sets of roller weights.

The Overrange variator is constantly worked on by Malossi engineers and boasts many state-of-the-art features – it is heavier, heat dissipation is improved and it is more robust and resistant. Acceleration and take-off is increased, and top speed is a little higher.
