Andrea Pinasco was one of the first mechanics who successfully tried to improve the performance of classic Vespa scooters, and his company Pinasco consequently became one of the household names for Vespa tuning. The Pinasco Carburetor Racing SI 24\/24 Vespa PX200 \/ Rally 180cc is based on the Dell’Orto SI carburetor. Pinasco modified it – the float needle diameter and valve are bigger, the hole between float bowl and jet carrier was bored open (from 1.5mm to 1.8mm). Fuel supply is improved so the carburetor is perfectly suited for tuned and racing engines.
