The Stage6 R\/T oversize CVT system – indispensable on racing and mid-race engines: Oversized CVT systems that extend the entire shifting range.

The Stage6-R\/T variator has newly calculated roller tracks optimized for R\/T engines for 19×15.5mm weights – the result is a very homogeneous speed curve that affects the entire acceleration phase. The flank angles are precision-machined on a CNC lathe and the riser disk has a reinforced contact pressure area. The sintered liner ensures optimum lubrication properties.

Innovative Design Stage6 R\/T transmissionUnlike conventional drive pulleys made of steel, the oversize CVT torque drive consists of forged aluminum halves and an interchangeable guide with two angles: 38\/41°. Optional guides with 39\/42° and 37\/40° are available separately. This is the first time such an option has been offered in a torque driver, opening up entirely new possibilities.

The halves are CNC-machined before assembly, which increases the precision of the component, especially the flank angle. Special attention is paid to the surface roughness, as it has a direct impact on the shifting and downshifting behavior.

Additional advantages of the modular system include reduced heat buildup, significantly lower weight, and the ability to replace individual components in case of wear.

After machining, all CNC parts are sealed with a ceramic conversion deep coating to preserve the surface properties (roughness) for as long as possible. Sandblasting, as used with pure steel torque plates, is not required—only necessary once the coating shows noticeable signs of wear.
