Cylinder hone tool universal. If you can see crosshatch marks in the cylinder bore, the cylinder is doing fine. If the marks are no longer visible or tangible, it is about time to treat the cylinder bore to a honing session. Honing creates fine crosshatch imperfections on the surface of the bore; the small imperfections are needed to retain the oil for lubrication. Unless the bore is severely damaged, honing, or de-glazing, the cylinder bore will bring your engine back to life. Great tool to have if you’re into DIY and tuning!
